The Night Residency
About
The Night Residency is an annual summer residency within Central London awarded to recent graduate of BFA and MFA programmes.
After a busy and often overwhelming period, where studio space can be difficult to find, the residency offers a time of reflection. It is a residency which provides a dedicated sanctuary for creative reflection and experimentation. During the residency the intention is to ease the artists transition from academic study to an independent artistic practice.
Structure & Ethos
Free from the pressure of output, deadlines, or a final exhibition, the residency does not create any requirements from the artist.
