Slim Slow Slider featured four artists whose practices intersected in a collaborative exploration of isolation, marginalisation, and contemplative responses to their environments.

Rooted in lived experience, the exhibition examined how states of physical, social, and emotional distance inform artistic practice and ways of seeing. The exhibited works reflected each artist’s individual encounters with marginalisation and introspection, drawing attention to subtle negotiations of belonging, place, and time.

These themes unfolded through personal narratives and observational practices. Rather than presenting isolation as a singular condition, the exhibition framed it as a fluid and shared experience—one shaped by context, memory, and perception.

The works created points of tension and overlap, allowing meaning to emerge through proximity and exchange. Together, the works invited viewers into a space of slowed engagement, encouraging both collective discussion and moments of private reflection.
