Within a monumental 5,500 sq ft space in Marylebone, Tightrope centered on the parallels within the creative process - how artistic practices intersect, diverge, and inform one another.
The works explore the tools, ingenuity, and dedication embedded within each practice, examining the subtleties and disciplines that their crafts demand. While the artists work across varying materials and methods, their processes reveal shared points of intersection. Thought, labour, and intuition align in multiple ways, creating a quiet dialogue between distinct practices.
Through this convergence, viewers are invited to trace the connections between each artist: the tools they employ, the decisions they make, and the physical and mental commitment required to realise the work. Tightrope ultimately highlights the delicate balance inherent in artistic creation—where process becomes both personal and collective.
The exhibition considers the balance each artist maintains between intention and experimentation, precision and uncertainty, as they navigate their individual approaches.
