Fragments: Mayfair, London

8 - 22 February 2023
Presented in collaboration with Omer Tiroche Gallery, Fragments explored the connections and differences between creatives, examining how personal histories shape artistic practice and everyday life.

The exhibition featured twelve artists from twelve nationalities, each engaging with their own lived experiences through their work. By explopring both shared and divergent perspectives, the exhibition sparked dialogue between artists, highlighting the ways in which personal and cultural histories inform creativity.

As part of the programme, Stanford lecturer Melissa Jones-Briggs visited the gallery to lead a session with both featured and non-featured artists on behavioural organisation.

Her lecture encouraged participants to embrace openness, explore new conversations, and engage with unfamiliar perspectives. This dialogue furthered the exhibition’s themes, fostering a mindset of receptivity to new environments and connections, even in the presence of past experiences.

Fragments thus became a space not only for artistic exploration but for collective reflection, offering insights into how creatives navigate identity, memory, and interpersonal exchange.
