Opening Reception: Wednesday, November 18th, 6:30pm
It is our pleasure to announce a very special solo exhibition at Subtitle Labs, presenting Nepalese-Venetian artist Kishor Fiorin.
On a scorching hot day we came across his work on the outskirts of Venice and were struck by his practice, its sensitivity and intensity.
We are excited to welcome Fiorin to his first London show, bringing a new body of work developed between his studio and studying at the Accademia Di Belle Arti Di Venezia.
Nel Mio Giardino opens on Wednesday 18th of November, and we are delighted to welcome you to the Private View at 44 Great Russell St, from 6:30pm.
The exhibition combines powerful portraiture and delicate poetry, that explore how memory and place shape identity. Fiorin’s works act as quiet recollections, forms of storytelling that weave tender histories of home and family, carrying the quiet weight of his background. The end result creates an antiphony between Kathmandu and Venice, enabling his personal history and paintings to speak individually and in unison.
Nel Mio Giardino welcomes you to explore these narratives, engage with the artist, and enter his world through the works.
Subtitle Labs looks forward to welcoming you.
